The Synthesis is the third and final piece of the Source-Survey-Synthesis tool. The overall goal of the tool is to assist researchers, policy makers, health planners, and students identify sources of health data for women and girls in British Columbia and elsewhere.

The Synthesis is populated with extant or commissioned synthesis papers on a variety of popular women’s health topics, including syntheses, critical position papers, reports, briefs, and fact sheets. These materials will be organized by topic/indicator.

This site is a hybrid of both The Source and The Survey. The site is thematically similar to the left-hand navigation on The Source where you can choose the topics that you are interested in. The related results are presented similarily to the results on The Survey.

If you want more information on the resources in The Synthesis, look below the detailed description box for links to related Gender-Based Analyses and data sources in The Source.

Improving access to the evidence base for women’s health will better inform women’s health policy development and improve the care provided to women and girls across Canada.
